| I am deeply honored by the nomination and this appointment by the SREC. I applaud the SREC for giving and heeding the collective voice of our Great Senate District. I am deeply moved by the confidence and trust of Committeewoman Robertson, Committeeman McDonald, and the SREC. More importantly, I am humbled by our proud, successful, and motivated Senate District. SD-11, you were listened to and represented very well by our Committeewoman and her colleagues today! The numerous well wishes and statements of support by Republicans in our Senate District and Senior Republican leaders State-wide are a testiment to the Strength, Motivation, and Dedication of Republicans in Brazoria, Galveston, and Harris Counties. I thank you all for allowing me to continue Committeeman McCool's mission. Together, we will not fail in our mission in keeping SD-11 Red! I sincerely thank Tanya Robertson for being a pillar of strength, a fountain of faith, a stalwart and faithful servant leader for me and our Senate District. Tanya, your words moved me to tears during the Nomination process and I thank you for seeing those things in me. I sincerely appreciate your fellowship, friendship, and sisterhood. I look forward in serving our Great Senate District together with you and growing our Party at unprecedented levels with a focus in non-traditional Republican areas. To Chris McDonald: Committeeman McCool is smiling brightly upon you. Thank you for your strength of character and iron will to be there for our Senate District. Your brother Daniel would be so proud of how you have set the golden standard for all Republicans to admire and follow by. I thank you for your confidence, leadership, and mentorship. May God continue to bless you and return you to Great Health. I look forward in working with our Republican party leaders and Grassroots Activists. Today was not only a Victory for our Senate District, but for our Grassroots, Liberty, and Traditional Conservatives. Together, we are and will be one Family, one Party, and one Team. Let's Get to Work! |
